Dr. Lawrence Werber BDS LDS RCS
I studied at Newcastle University, qualifying as a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (LDS RCSEng) in 1967, and Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Newcastle (BDS UNcle) in 1968.
When I started practicing dentistry I was often surprised by the fear people seemed to have of dentists. Over the years I have heard many unhappy stories of the way people have been treated. I have always worked to change peoples' minds about how dentistry can be.
When I started the Looking-Glass Dental Practice I resolved to uphold the principles I have always believed in: that people should be treated with care and respect. That dentistry should be painless and that ideally people should not need treatment at all, just regular checkups and the aesthetic work they choose to have done.
I have many years of experience working as a private dentist, but dentistry is a rapidly developing and changing profession and I regularly attend courses to update my knowledge and skills.
