These are some of our special interests:
- Helping you to feel good about your smile.
- Helping you to look good when you smile.
- Promoting Positive Oral Health - reducing your need for treatment. Putting into your hands the precision cleaning techniques for preventing, at home, the damage that dentists spend most of their time treating. Advising on diet, smoking and alcohol. Regular soft tissue examination for early detection, and treatment, of abnormal changes.
- Taking enough time to pass on the Positive Oral Health message. It’s a learning process, which needs time, but this will be the best investment you can make in the long-term health of your mouth: as well as in your general health. Recent studies have shown strong links between oral and general health: heart disease and gum disease. Gum disease in pregnancy has been linked to low birth-weight in babies.
- Aiming for a stable and disease-free mouth, requiring maintenance-only dentistry, thus giving you the option of choosing to have work done from which you can see the benefits of feeling and looking better, as opposed to needing work because of damage.
